Man, so far I've seen only bad things about cats who father their kittens. The daddy cat I saw on the TV was also cucked by their neighbor's cat but he still looked after them. The second daddy cat I saw is a stray cat I feed. He looks like Hitler with a tiny mustache so we call him either Adolf or Hitler. Anyway, he and his mate had a kitten, he would usually patrol around while she and the kitten ate, but they somehow managed to lose the kitty. They meowed around the neighborhood for a week, he even meowed at me and when I said he's not here, he understood it then went somewhere else to look. But they couldn't find the kitten. After a week they gave up, they're back to normal.

I highly doubt the male cat cares if it’s its offspring. They don’t have a sense of family as we do. They don’t have one mate for life either so it’ll just go and knock up whatever other horny cat it can find.
